EPSO/AD/206/11 (AD 5) y EPSO/AD/207/11 (AD 7) – Puntuaciones y encuesta

Me sigue pareciendo casi imposible. En fin os lo contare en 3 semanas!

    1. (Sorry but I write spanish very badly, but I understand well – so I will write in English) 🙂

Last year 70% took part in the competition. So, assuming the same this year, this is around 6000 ppl who participated in the AD7 general competition.

Last year, they took exactly 2.5 times the amount of people needed. In AD7 case this is 25*2.5=62 people roughly.

So, they will take around the top 1% of the tests.

This is equivalent to 2.3 standard deviations. Fitting a Gaussian to 62.5 (top20%) and bottom 30% (55), you will find that the standard deviation is around 5.51 and the mean is around 57.87. Therefore, the pass mark is around 70-71. Doing the same analysis with all other competitions you get around 70-71.

So, if you have around 70-71 you should be ok. With less than that you probably will be out.

      1. Woh! I’m sure you got 10 in numerical reasoning!
It is a very interesting calculation but I’m not sure if the deviation will be the same in the best 20% results…
I guess it is worthy to wait for the official number but anyway thank you for your forecast!
